I have a 31" TV GE and when I turn it on and start watching tv, the tv starts to changing channel by itself and also turning off :wall: . Does anybody knows what is wrong with it?

Are any of your buttons on your remote or tv "stuck" in?

I had a 36" Magnavox that did the same thing and the cause of it was the circuit board that the buttons are on, on the television itself. The tv repair guy charged me like $80 bucks to repair it.

repair should be straightforward replacement of your ir rx within the tv-if not then further faultfinding may be needed to do with the sets control system
