When the problem started the picture would fade out but there would be sound. Now the TV won't come on. I can turn the TV on and off several times and sometimes the picture will come on and fade out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

check allsoldered connections in the line op stage-favourite would be the lopt derived supply for the tube heaters,also check on the tube base pcb itself
