Hi all, hope someone can help me out. I just lost my father-in-law so we know little about starting the gas fireplace. I was able to start the pilot and it's been on since it was a success. Now the problem, the fire lit up for 1 day but since that day, no matter what we do with the thermostat (either raising or lowering) it does not start up. I verified the breakers not knowing wich one but all are ok. Someone who has the same fireplace came to clean it hoping it would resolve but still nothing. Unable to go to the dealer because it has closed it's doors for awhile. Gas tank is filled up.
Any suggestion what can prevent the fire to "flame up".
Thanks
Ram

check the transformer on it and see if you have power there to the tstat and back to the gas valve..
