I noticed that in the North West corner of my house, the brick has pulled away at the top corner where it attaches below the siding. My house has siding from the roofline to about 5 foot from the ground, and brick from the ground up about 5 feet. It goes the length of the front of the house and across the front of the garage.
I had a well put in a month ago, they drilled through the wall (for the water line) about 8' to the left of where the brick is pulling away. I wonder if that drilling on the wall could have caused the brick to pull away?
What are my options at this point? Can the bricks be reattached or do they have to be torn off? IF they have to be removed, can I cut through the brick with a masonry blade (where they are still attached, at a point that is visually pleasing) and just put siding all the way down where the bricks used to be?

In most cases this wall WILL need to be torn down and rebuilt useing more wall ties ,mostlikey not enough wall ties were used in the constuction of this outside wall
