My ceiling light/fan in my kitchen just "lit" and quit. One switch runs both. It is connected by two switches on two opposing walls.

Have checked the breaker box. No luck. Before I dig in I would really like some troubleshooting tips. Could it be the fixture? Could it be the switch on the wall?

I would appreciate any help I can get.

It could be the fixture, a switch, a loose connection anywhere on the circuit including in the breaker box. Start by seeing if anyting else on the same circuit is also dead.
