i have an older Mobile Home and my husband was going to replace the light in the bathroom.
Problem we have is that the wires coming out of the ceiling there are 2 of each Black and White, but the new light only has one of each, how do we wire it???? Hope some one can help.
Thank you Lydia & Roger :

Connect the new fixture exactly as the old one was connected. Is it too late for that advice? Have you already tried something that failed? If so, what did you do and what happened?

Sounds as though you have another light in that circuit. Hook all the blacks together and all the whites together. This will continue the circuit.
