Is there an easy way to do this? We almost hired a contractor to do the job just so we didn't have to load it. The stairs are too narrow and inaccessible to load it that way, so we were thinking of getting some scaffolding and handing up the whole load and then sliding it in the window...about 24 sheets.

Thanks!!

I assume you are not having the rock delivered. Usually when rock is stocked in a 2nd floor a window is removed and the delivery truck hoists it up there with a boom. To slide it in a window the window would have to have an opening taller than 4' and you would need to use care not to damage the window or the rock.

Are you using 12' or 8' rock? Either way it would still take a lot of effort to lift the rock off of the truck up to the scaffolding.

Sorry I don't have an 'easy way' tip for you. Any way you cut it, its hard work :(
