Light fixture in dining room buzzes lightly when on high and louder when dimmed. As you can tell, it's on a dimmer switch. I read that buzzing sounds could be fixed by an adaptor installed in the fixture, but I was wondering if there would be an easier fix. Is it possible that I could pick up a voltage regulating dimmer switch for the fixture to fix the problem? Are there such things and if so, what should I look for in another dimmer switch? The dimmer switch that's installed was there when I purchased the house, so I'm not sure about it.

Thanks in advance to anyone that could shed some light here. (no pun intended, but happened just the same)

Change brands of bulbs. Some brands have this problem and some don't.
