Need to purchase a top mounted damper for my fireplace and see two brands out there - (SEAL TIGHT) and (LYEMANCE). They look the same. Anyone have any experience with either.
Thanks Dave

Easy open power lever and tidy appearance are the desired features of a chimney top damper. Lymance has a good reputation and is carried by many hearth shops.

What about this type of damper freezing? I've heard that a lifting (not hinged) type is better for freeze protection...
