We have a 25 year old single wide mobile home. We are having a problem with the shower. We have a leak somewhere on the outside of the shower wall and the outer wall of the mobile home. We have look under the home and when the we turn the shower on the water gush from above. It no the drain. . It look as if it is coming out between the two wall. There is no way for us to see where the leak is coming from. Do have to remove a wall??? When the water is off there is no leak. Please help!

It sounds like the seal or caulking around the shower has gone bad or just gone. Check around in the shower especially where walls meet or shower pan meets the wall. Look for an opening where the caulk may have been before. It may be a hairline opening. If you find one, clean to remove soap and any oils and recaulk. Make sure it has time to cure before using. Good luck.

The shower unit does not have any caulking in it. The unit looks all in one. No separation anywhere. Just set in the wall. There is caulking around the outside walls in the bathroom, but no caulking or separations inside the shower.

Looks like the leak is in the pipe between the shower valve and the head. Hopefully you have a closet on the back side of the shower that you can cut open to repair the leak. Good luck.
