Hi, this may be a silly question, but what should i use to properly shim my toilet? It doesn't rock, but because my house is tilted so much, it leans forward causing the front lid not to stay up (annoying for guys). I have to move it anyways to do some tiling behind it, and am curious what to use. Just basic wood shims? Anything more appropriate considering the wax/water/etc??
Thanks,
Bob

They sell toilet shims. They are plastic. Make sure that you properly support the toilet when using them. Meaning, make sure it doesn't rock. You will probably want to caulk around the base after using them to avoid looking at the gap. Be sure to loosen the toilet bolts before installing them or you could break the bowl. Good luck.
