We decided to do our 10 X 10 wood shed on a concrete floor.
My husband thinks that 2 inches of concrete will be okay. We are pouring it over some broken up concrete, bricks etc. .

Any advice greatly appreciated!

It depends how long you want it to last, and whether you care if it breaks up into pieces or not.

3 1/2" would be the minimum I would pour it. I could see how a person would think... it's just a shed and pour it only 2" thick, but a contractor wouldn't cut corners like that.

my wood shed is 12 x 16..(i may have went overkill on cement but i want no problems)....floor is 4 inches thick, around the outside edge i made it 12inches deep x 4 inches wide..tapered on a 45 back to the 4" .....3/8 rebar every square foot and 3x3 angle iron (with anchors every 12")in front of the sliding door

make it to last..you may be there a while...nothing worse than tripping over a crack that has heaved on a DIY project...you would curse it forever

3-1/2" thick, and the outer foot being about 6" to 8" thick is what I used. Rebar is overkill and really not necessary. A wire or fiber mesh, maybe.
