I've seen a nice farm table for sale and would like to buy it except for the fact it has a tile top on it. The legs are an off white or light yellow and the tiles are white. Needless to say I'm not to fond of that. What are my options or some ideas to give it a different top? I'm thinking I would probably have to take the top off and replace it with a new wood top. It that expensive?

I suspect that would approach the cost of getting a table with a top that you do like
There's a bit involved with custom cutting and finishing a top like that
