i have a Jotul firelight CB woodstove. it is the main source of heat with an oil furnance as a back up. oil furnance also makes the hot water.
i would like to use the wood stove to make the hot water.
a water heater attachment is not made by Jotul for my stove.
does anyone know of a generic attachment for my stove?
if i have to build one myself, does anyone have any sugestions on how to do it ? i mean, should i just put a water tank behind the stove? or run a water pipe under the stove ?
i understand in the old days before the EPA got involved, you would just drill a hole in the stove and run a water pipe through the stove. but, now with the way the stoves are designed, you cant do it that way. my stove is four years old. no cat.
thanks.
