i have a 41 gal capacity amtrol unit,with a digital dispaly...i just read direction and raise my water temp to 135 for the winter months....i noticed that the cap setting was set at 120 gal capacity,i changed it to 41 the size of the tank,that is stated on the unit.if anyone is familiar with this tank could tell me if i did the right thing...from reading the direction it was set wrong and i feel i set it at the right tank capacity now...it has 4 different setting...thank for any imput...

I'm sure you did the right thing but for the life of me I can't figure why the thermostat needs to know the capacity of the tank. The only thingthat comes to mind would be if it incorporates a time delay for turning on or off and changes the delay based on tank size.
