I am getting ready to order my rock and am trying to lay it out so I have as few vertical seems as possible. For the most part its easy (windows/doors/corners are in good spots) but up near the corner of the cathedral ceiling Im wonderinghow difficult it would be to use 12 foot pieces.
Ill have a jack for the ceiling, so I coudl always keep it another day. But, the ceiling is angles, so the rock needs to be cut on the angle.
Will it be too hard to cut the rock accurately and use the jack for a 12 foot pieces from 8 to 16 feet up?
Or am I better off using 8 footers - easier to handle - and speackle a few vertical seams?
