I read that I couldn't use plumbers putty to seal the pipe drain since my vessel sink is made of granite. What other product can I use?

I would recommend 100% silicone. The oil in Plumbers Putty will discolor certain surfaces. Good luck.

As majakdragon says, 100% silicone, no putty.
