I have some commercial tempered glass I want to install in the house I'm building? Does anyone know how to go about doing this? How will I weather proof it?

Are you so away from civilization that current building codes don't apply?
Unless these relites(trade name for a single piece of glass usually installed interior w\wood stops)are going into an unheated space, there is almost no chance of passing even the most cursory inspection.

You're correct, there are no building codes in our county except foundation, septic and water well. They don't inspect inside of a single family dwelling and could care less what you installed. These relites are installed as sky lites in an upstairs room. I'm still looking for a section view of the installation.

Thanks WES. This house is also on the water on Luces Bayou at Lake Houston, 40 miles from Houston, Tx. I'll be waiting for your e-mail drawing at rwolf@ashbrookcorp.com. We have AutoCAD 2000 here at Ashbrook Corp.
