I'm losing water out of my toilet bowl not the tank.....I have no water on the floor so i assume the wax ring is still good.....the water goes down to the very bottom of the bowl so I think there is still some water in the trap...When I flush (paper) the water rises up to the rim then slowly goes away leaving a very small amount of water (the paper stay's).....What are my options....What can I do to troubleshoot?....Do toilets go bad(this one is about 18 years old)
Thanks
Thanks

You have a clogged toilet. A closet auger should be able to remove the obstruction. They make two sizes of augers; 3 foot and 6 foot. Most times this will clear the obstruction if it is within that location of length.
Sometimes numerous passes are needed to remove the clog. Let us know your results.
