Large Fireplace Outside Height 35"f Outside Width 45" Depth At Floor 28" Minimum Inside Width 39"!!! I Want To Put An Insert In But Having A Problem With The Size Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated???? Which Is Better Pellet Or Wood?? My Husband Is A Welder Can He Make The Face Plate And We Just Buy The Insert??? If So Does The Face Plate Go Over The Outside Width And How Is It Attached??? What Is The Best Metal For The Face Plate??? Thanks Tracy

I also have a pretty substantial fireplace and if I were to buy an insert, I would buy the Harmon Accetra. It is by far the best pellet insert on the market. Just for proof.... go try to find a new one. They are on backorder for months. If I were to see your post before buying my Harmon P68, I would have bought the Accetra and bought a custom surround from your husband!! my Fireplace is 55" wide, and 28" tall.
