I have a seven year old Trane. I set the thermostat to Heat and Auto Fan. It never kicked on. Instead, while on Heat, I can only force thefan to come if I lower stat to 50 degrees. If I put the stat to 70 degrees and nothing happens. While the stat is set to 70, I go outside and hear clicking/vibrating sound from unit. The gas is turned on. The fan does work. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Aaron

I have a similar problem. While my AC unit/blower will turn on if I lower my temp. If I switch the unit to heat, up the temp to 80+ it does not turn on.
I can hear a click on the thermostat, and I have a "fire" indicator but no activity on the furnace itself. The furnace does not need/have a pilot light if that is important.
