I just installig 4 recessed lights for a sloped ceiling. I was dreading this (recessed are always a pain - at least to me).
But, for the first time I used a quality product - Lightolier - (actually I HAD to use them because they were the best deal I could find for a steep slope, IC type)
In any case, installation was a breeze. They make these things beatiful. They set a screw in the bars waiting to be screwed, the bars are hinged on two ends, so the light hangs flush while you put it in two bars - then you wire it - then screw in the other two bars. The Hanger bars click and lock into place so they arent sliding all over the place - they make it a piece of cake.
If youve ever installed the cheapies (Ive used them all over my house) youd appreciate the quality of these cans. Of course, youpay for it.
