I have a 10 year old gas furnance and tonight it started making clicking noises. It fires, all the burners come on and a couple of seconds later this loud clicking noise starts. The clicking continues until the furnance shuts down. I'm getting warm air through the vents but not a strong air flow. When the clicking noise first started there was burning smell coming through the vents as well.
Any ideas?

The smell is probably summer dust being burned off. If it persists, by all means shut the funace down & call a service person.
The noise could be a bad fan blade or something hitting the fan. On your thermostat, if you switch it to "fan on", does the fan run & do you hear the same noise? Do this with the heat turned OFF.
