We have new windows in our 1927 Tudor but still feel cold coming from the walls. I'd like to put insulated curtains over them but need some advice on brands etc. I also love the sunlight we get from these windows so I would be pulling them back during the day.

insultated draperies would be very appropriate for your situation. unfortunately, the selection is usually more limited for insulated than regular lined draperies. if you can find what you like style & color-wise, i'd recommend ordering a swatch, if available, or one panel & examine them firsthand to see if they meet your expectations.
