Unit was replaced last year. Worked fine after that. Pilot light is lit, but burners won't light. Could it be the thermal coupler? and cold!!!

If this furnace has a pilot which stays lit all the time, make sure the gas valve is set to "on" not "pilot". Also check all switches to be sure they are on. Most gas furnaces have a switch behind the blower door. If the blower door is not properly fastened, the furnace will not come on. Check these things & post back in the same thread.

The furnace is a water boiler. It makes no difference with what I do with the thermostat. The thermostat itself clicks, but no click at the boiler. Could it be the thermal coupling? and getting colder!

Do you have 120 volts going to the boiler & 24 volts to the thermostat?

Don't know. I have done nothing to this system since using it last year. I have checked the breaker box. I believe the power is going to it but I don't have a tester. Still  and cold!

Without a meter, you are pretty much shot. Time to call a pro or at least somebody with a meter. If the pilot stays lit, the thermocouple is ok.

Thanks. I'll call someone tomorrow.
