I recently added an addition onto my house with a crawlspace,in the crawlspace I have 1/2 " hot and cold water pipes for a bathroom and 3/4 " pipes for hot water heat. Which is the best way to insulate and prevent freezing. I live in N.J. and do have 0 degree nights. Some of the pipes are below the floor insulation. Thanks

Check the Home centers. What you want is Armaflex. It is a foam insulation. There are cheaper brands but you get what you pay for. Some are made more for stopping condensation then insulating against the cold. Good luck.

Thanks so much Majak, I couldn't find that brand but found similar foam insulation, wrapped all the pipes but was told while asking for the foam I shouldn't have any problem because a crawlspace rarely goes below the freezing mark around here. thanks again,
