I have a 2 story home. Upstairs are crawl spaces on each side of the 2 bedrooms. The crawl spaces are between the roof (angled) and interior wall. The height is about 4 feet. Currently there is some non-faced insulation, but I'd like to add to it. My question is .... What is the reccommended insulation for crawl spaces.... faced or non-faced. If I use faced should the paper be towards the inside of the wall or facing the outside? Thanks!

Are you insulating the roof or the walls and floor? You need to make sure you have proper ventilation, so insulating the underside of the roof may not be feasible.

Usually, the faced side of rolled insulation goes towatd the living or heated area.

I intend to only insulate the walls.
