Hi -
I have a forced hot air gas furnace. We just started the heating season in upstate NY & I hear what sounds to me like the pilot clicking continuously while the heat is on.
Has anyone had experience with this? Is it something that I can fix myself? I am relatively handy around the house.
Thanks,
MB

Is the pilot lighting while it clicks? Is it clicking whole time while the burners runing and heating the house?
Or just sits there clicking non-stop trying to light the pilot?
We need more info.

The pilot clicks & lights the heat & the heat comes on (yes, the heat is working). It keeps clicking while the heat is on.
I don't know if it is actually "lighting" after it starts the heat.
