I own a Carrier gas unit. The pilot light is on and looks fine, but the burners are not catching. They are still off after several hours of waiting.

Any advice as to what I need to do?

When you turn your t-stat fan switch to on, does the fan come on? flame as well?

if the fan don't come on, then check to make sure you have power going to the unit.. (check main breaker/fuse for house, and some area, there are a fuse/switch near the furnace... make sure it's on.)

If the blower runs. make sure the gas valve is switch from "Pilot" to "On".
