I am having someone do all the tile work in my newly remodeled bath, but after grouting, he didn't immediately clean the grout off the tiles. Now it has been days and the haze is still there even after wiping with a wet cloth. Do i have to scrub, or use a chemical de-glazer? Or am I just in trouble? They are not the porcelain, water resistant tiles, but the kind that need to be sealed to be waterproof.

If you will get a dry corse rag and put alot of elbo grease in it it will come up. You could also get a plastic sponge looking thing.. They work OK too..

Try SULFAMIC acid crystals, mix with water and sponge on the tile then use a rag or white colored scrubbie to agitate the haze. The acid crystals can be had at HD in the tile dept.
