i just poured a footing for some extra back porch support, how long can i leave the form (tube) on the footing/in the ground before removing it or can it be left there indefiniteley?? thanks again all

If it is a sonutube, leave it in the ground. you can cut off the top at ground level with a utility knife.

the form is the one supplied at home depot stores called a quik-tube. sounds like they dont require being removed? i wanted to make sure they wouldnt help hold moisture or do anything else bad to the footing thanks

Leave it in. Cut the top off if you wish.
