Hello folks. Need help to determine the minimun distance required from existing fireplace masonary chimney to set a b-vent flue from gas furnace.

I have a shallow pitch roof, existing fireplace chimey is at about 1 foot from the eaves (gutter). The existing chimney is about 1 foot hight than the roof peak. Anyone know this basic code info?

The best thing to do is check local code as all are different. Your local library may even have the code book for you to refrence.
