I'm currently installing a sub floor on my existing concrete basement floor. I used PT 2x4's then 6 mil plastic stapled to the the 2x4's and then 3/4 in plywood. The floor is now raise approx 2 3/4 inches. Will I get moisture issues since I used a 6 mil plastic?

Should I have used a differrent method ? I'm not sure what I will put on the plywood. I want carpet, but i dont want mold or mildew

Go to www.NOFMA.org and look and see where you went wrong.

Pressure treated wood has a high Moisture content that can effect the flooring.

Thanks, Carpets done wright!

But I did not see anything about my question. You indicated that PT has a
high moisture content, but I was informed or mis-informed that PT should be used on concrete or below grade applications. I've already installed the plywood, so what should I DO? Exactly how long would it be before I may have a potential mositure issue? Will de-humidifiers do the trick. Could someone please chime in and help me our before I cover the plywood with
carpeting or carpet squares or something else

In the NOFMA industry specs, it says to lay the moisture barrier in an asphalt mastic.

Mastic, moisture barrier, screeds saturated in ashalt mastic and flooring, or plywood.

You may get by with how you have it, but you poked holes in the moisture barrier with the fasteners, compromising it.

Did you look at this product before you made your screed and plywood decision?

Yes, I did look at it, but it is very expensive and I wanted to raise the floor. They should make this product in 4X8 sheets

4x8 sheets are not as stable as smaller pieces. They have the tendency to warp unless they are fastened down.
