I just layed some 12X12 porcelian tiles on an outdoor covered porch. Is there a specific grout that should be used for outdoors? I heard someone mention a synthetic grout but have not heard of it.

Any good modified grout will work, wait a week or so, then seal it.:)

The easiest to work with would be a cement based grout that you can mix with a latex additive instead of water. This will make it more dense and help inhibit some staining.
