I'm remodeling a very small bathroom and have it all stripped down to studs right now. I'll be installing backerboard and drywall (greenboard) soon.
My DIY book recommends installing 4-mil plastic sheeting over the framing for the shower stall before nailing the backerboard in place, which I plan to do.
I'd also like to install building paper over the rest of the bathroom, and 4-mil sheeting over the ceiling.
Is this a good idea? Will it prevent "breatheability"?
