I have an 10X12 attached shed on cement slab that is settling and pulling away from the house. Is mud jacking the only solution to remedy this problem? I was thinking of a way to fix it myself instead of paying a cement contractor to do the mud jacking. Will a house jack work for this job or am I taking a risk of cracking the slab?

You will probably crack the slab, plus how do propose to get concrete or someting under it and level it?

Get a couple of estimates before you decide you can do it cheaper and better. Then, you can make an intellegent choice.

Talk to a contractor that does "mudjacking", "concrete raising" "slab raising" or something similar - not a normal concrete contractor.
