I have a leather easy chair that is home to my rump while watching TV. The cushion slides forward several inches after each use and I'm
constantly adjusting it before each use.
I've tried an "X" pattern of Velcro which works for a while, but eventually it curls up and peels.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. :wall:

Have you tried a no-skid pad?
It's a rubbery mesh stuff
Sold in sheets and rolls
It is sold under many names for many uses
Including tool box liner, futon matt anti-slide, throw rug no-slip...etc..

I have, with the same result. Before too long it curls up and becomes
ineffective.

i think as a last resort i would try attaching ties to both the cushion and the inside back of the chair and tie them together. does the cushion have a welt? if so, that'd be easy to sew through & attach some sort of strap to the bottom welt and one to wherever you can figure out a spot on the back.

i suggest laying a rubber shower mat beneath the cushion.
