my tile installer just finished installing 20x20 glazed porcelain tiles in my kitchen. He did a beautiful job--until he pushed the fridge back and scratched (lightly but noticeably) several tiles. Clearly he didn't notice. The scratches aren't deep; looks like the glaze was rubbed off. My question is: can these scratches be repaired--buffed out or something? Or will the tiles have to be replaced? And how difficult is that if he just laid the tiles in the last couple of days? thanks for any advice.

sorry, folks, don't know how to delete my original post, but using a grout mixture and buffing seemed to do the trick. Realized I probably shouldn't be posting anyway since this is DIY help site. From now on, I think that's the way to go. Hats off to you guys.
