I have recently increased the amount of blown in insulation over my garage. I have insulated Recessed lighting in a room that is below this area that i have increased the amount of insulation in. I am still experiencing drafts around the recessed lighting and I want to know if anyone has suggestions to eliminate these drafts coming through the recessed lighting. Can I just take plywood and put it over the recessed lighting attach it to the studs on either side of the lighting then block off both ends so that no air can get into the space?
