I have a 15yr old Admiral fridge in which the light does not come on. I screwed in two different bulbs with no luck. Could it be wiring problem? I was going to take out the housing unit that holds the bulb, but it is riveted in. Any suggestions?

You sure you can't pop the switch out-----carefully.
