I'm building a custom shower pan, and following instructions from the Black & Decker tile book.

To make the sloping floor of the shower base, the book calls for, "thick-bed floor mortar", or "deck mud".

I went to Home Depot and they figured it would be the cheapest ordinary thinset mortar from the tile section.

Did I buy the right stuff?
