I want to tile a very small section like 5 inches high by 12 inches long in the bathroom around the sink. What should I use so the tiles adhear to the wall? The wall is just older plywood that was painted.

Isn't that awful? It is I think 1/8 or so, just some awful old thing, I think that is what it is. So if I go to one of the big stores, just as ask for modified thinset or is there a specific type?
Is there a small bag seeing I don't need much?
Thanks.

I think 25lb bags are the smallest bags available...
