We just bought a used Lopi Wood Stove from a friend (84 model) and want to install through the ceiling. We do not have any stove pipe or pieces other than the stove. What do we need and are there any links to sites with information on installation? Also, what kind of price range are we looking at? No one seems to be able to help us.
Thanks!

You should use a double wall stainless steel chimney. They are available fromthe people that sell wood burners.
Make sure you have the required spacing from your walls and under the stove.

Do not install any wood burning appliance in a mobile home unless it is "listed" for the location. There are specific listing of wood stoves for mobile homes. LOPI is a well known name brand FP. There should be a UL or Warnock Hersey tag on the back or side that would tell you if its listed or not. always install per manufactor instructions and NFPA codes. Wood stoves and flue pipes require special fittings where they pass thru walls, roofs, and ceiling. Chimneys (flue pipes) have specific requirements for height. And both the stove and the flue have clearances that must be maintained! There is a wealth of info on the web, but it is confusing. Best to get the right stuff and instructions from a PRO on this one. You may want to check with your insurance company, they may take issue with this install.
