noticed armstrong has a product that is tounge and groove laminate wood planks that they sell especially made for the ceiling.. its however way to expensive... for 400 sq ft it would be bout $2000,,

2 options were thinking bout..

1. using paneling $11-$14 a 4x8 sheet bout $200 for whole job ... would this
work???

2. the Idea I would perfer is laminate flooring tounge and groove style.. home deopot has some $1.28-$2.99 a sq foot so like $400-$800

would either of these options work???????????

we are replacing ceiling tiles with 12in furring strips attached to 24in on center ceiling joists..

any ideas suggestion any help appreciated!

We used cedar slat siding on our vaulted ceilings. I wouldn't use laminate when the real thing is just as much cost.
