I just brought a new house where the floors in the kitchen had this nasty old carpet in it. So I tore the old carpet out and found it had a real wood floor. Is there any way to spice this wood up and make it look good? If so could you tell me how or refer me someplace please. I really don't know how to do anything with it!
Thanks,
Nicole

Nicki, try the National Wood FLooring Assosiation @www.woodfloors.org or look for a book called "Hardwood Floors: Laying, sanding and finishing" by Don Bollinger. You can find it at Amazom.com.
