Hi. I am pretty sure the plywood under our vinyl floor is rotted around the commode. I am planning to have the vinyl replaced, but I am not sure who would replace the plywood. Does the floorman do this, or do I need to call a plumber? I appreciate any advice.

Your flooring people may or may not do this. If they don't, call a carpenter since the problem is with wood, and then a plumber to re-set the toilet. The leak problem was with the wax seal failing under the toilet. Good Luck!

Be sure whoever does the floor replacement also checks the floor joists. I did a similar job, and the floor joists needed replacement also.
