We thought we had a project almost planned, but today discovered what appears to be a pretty major stumbling block. We have been offered a house for free if we move it. The house is brick veneer. I learned today that when the house is moved, the movers will peel off the brick "however it comes off", and we will be left to either clean the brick off and have it reapplied, or have to forego this wonderful, energy efficient veneer. I need to know how much it could cost to have the brick cleaned and put back up, or have new brick applied. This is a 30' wide by 50' long ranch plus another 17'6" of attached garage. This may put this project out of reach for us financially.

Thanks for any information.
