Ack! My Kenmore front-loading washer has a terribly loud buzzer --- which ALLWAYS goes off just as Baby is falling asleep!

Does anyone know how I can disconnect it?

If the back cover of the control panel comes off by removing a few screws, take it off to get to the 2 wires at buzzer. If no back panel, take the 2 screws off from front top sides & 2 top, back screws & lift whole panel up to get to buzzer. Remove one wire ( doesn't matter which ) tape up good with electrical tape & reassemble. No more buzzer. Dave

This is great . . . but I didn't mention that this is a front-loader (with a stacked gas dryer on top), so the configuration would be a bit different, and the buzzer (and its wires) in different locations.

Do you (or anyone else!) know where those wires are and how to get to them (preferably without removing the dryer)?
