Any help would be appreciated.

We bought a house with no keys to the front door deadbolt, double cylinder and in the locked position. Not sure what I need to do to remove it.

Thanks

Hi ysualum,

There should be screws on the inside door lock. Remove them, and the lock comes apart. Next, look into the hole the locks covered. Do you see the "D" shaped hole in the bolt mechanism? Take you screw driver, and turn that. If it won't turn one way, turn it the other way. This retracts the bolt. That should get the door open for you. If you have trouble, repost to the board.
