Circumstances require that I glue down my newly acquired 3/4"X31/4" Maple flooring to concrete substrate.:wall:
A hundred reasons prevent me from adding CDX and doing the install correctly.:wall: :wall:
Since I've done some nail down I've got a reasonable handle on tricks to use but with glue down I'm a newbie.
Any tricks out there...starting the first row? Using boards that are not perfectly straight?
Any help? I'll share my computer expertise!

Go to www.NOFMA.org and see what they say about gluing ¾" solid. NOFMA sets the standards, specifications, and guidlines for hardwood flooring
MWFA(Maple Wood Flooring Association) may have a website with standards also

An engineered (laminate) wood product is what you need for glue down on concrete. Most folks these days are going with the click-together floating floors.
